What Is The Printing Process?
To start the printing process, we prepare the golf balls by cleaning them to remove any oils or dirt from the surface; this ensures that the ink will adhere properly.
We then use our specialised golf ball jig to place multiple golf balls into the UV printer at once and set up the machine to print.
The UV LED lamp inside the printer cures the ink instantly, setting it into place.
Finally, the printed balls undergo quality checks to ensure that all the designs are accurate before we send them direct to your door!
What Can I Print?
We promise that we will do everything we can to make sure your photo or text looks great when we print it onto your golf balls. Here are some things that you can do to help us achieve the best possible results:
- A high-resolution JPEG image produces the best results. The larger the better!
- Photos printed on brightly-coloured golf balls can sometimes look disappointing. We recommend choosing a white ball instead for the best image quality.
- Avoid submitting a photo that has lots of little details. The printing area on our golf balls is only around 2cm x 2cm, so fine details may be difficult to make out in the final print.
- Don’t submit images that depict nudity, violence etc. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that we deem inappropriate.
- You must own the content or have the legal right to reproduce it. The content must also not infringe on the rights of any third party.
Our customisation options include: monogram initials, photos, alignment line with custom text, logo or up to three lines of text.
