The Difference Between Pro V1 and Pro V1x

Titleist Pro V1x golf balls have a firmer, more solid feel, whereas Pro V1 golf balls tend to be a bit softer. A firmer ball can be a better choice for an experienced golfer, helping you to maximise the velocity of your shots. Skilled golfers will also find that the unique dimple pattern used on the Titleist Pro V1x balls results in a higher flight than the pattern used for regular Pro V1s.

The overall construction of these balls is also very different. A Pro V1 has three layers, but the Pro V1x uses a four-layer construction, as well as an iconic high-gradient dual core. This results in a ball that can achieve a slightly better wedge and iron spin than its counterpart.

The two-year gap between editions of the Pro V1x was put to good use by engineers at Titleist, who have worked to make this the best ball it can be.
